I demand a pet.
Secretly I want a tiger cub or cheetah cub, I realise it's probably inhumane and that my pet might eat me when it gows up and that unlike Siegfried and Roy I am just not that cool, and so I will settle for a kitten. Heck I'll settle for a goldfish.
My mother says I'm irresponsible.
A family friends son had a cat in college named "The Dude". My mental image is that of a very stoned feline. I may have to adopt a college cat.
^ that's Lola. The boarding house cat. Unfortunately it's a very unflattering photo of her. She's usually more smiley and her eyes are less satanic and her fur more chocolatey than pooey. I adore her. She spends more typing skyping my family than me. Alas, her motherly instincts led her to believe I was in need of hunting training and so she dropped a very alive mouse at my feet.
